Taskmaster Resources is recruiting on behalf of our client, Darlington Memorial Hospital, for a Ward Hostess/Host to join their dedicated team.

⏳ Hours: 32.5 hours per week or 27.5 hours per week (between 7am and 8pm)

Are you passionate about delivering excellent service and making a difference in a healthcare setting? We are looking for a dedicated Ward Hostess/Host to support the hospital’s catering services by ensuring efficient meal ordering, preparation, and service to patients.
As a Ward Hostess/Host, you will work closely with the Food Services Manager and ward staff to provide nutritious and high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Assist with meal ordering, reheating, and serving meals & beverages to patients.
✅ Ensure food quality, temperature control, and hygiene standards are met.
✅ Maintain accurate temperature monitoring and HACCP compliance.
✅ Support stock control, receipt of goods, and food safety regulations.
✅ Assist with cleaning schedules and hygiene audits.
✅ Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
✅ Adhere to food allergen and safety regulations.What We’re Looking For:
???? Experience in catering services (preferred but not essential).
???? Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
???? A flexible and proactive approach to work.
???? Strong communication & customer service skills.
???? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
